Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Contact form: name, company, email address, message, and optionally timeline and budget range.
- Product usage: data you upload or create within DK1.AI products (lead signals, meeting notes, prospect research, documents). Product-specific data handling is governed by our Product Terms of Service.
Information collected automatically
Updated 2026-09-23: this section now describes the analytics, error monitoring, and browser storage this site uses.
- Server logs: IP address, browser type, user agent, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) collects these as part of standard web operations.
- Product analytics (PostHog): PostHog, Inc. sets cookies and stores an identifier in your browser's localStorage. It records page views, clicks and other interactions, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address. Data is sent to PostHog's US cloud (us.i.posthog.com).
- Web analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics): Cloudflare, Inc. measures traffic in aggregate: page views, referrers, device and browser type, and country. It does not use cookies.
- Error monitoring (Sentry): when a page error occurs, Sentry records technical details about the error. It may capture a replay of the affected session with all text, form inputs, and media masked.
- Functional browser storage: some features keep state in localStorage. For example, the /scope pilot-brief flow saves your draft for up to 24 hours so a reload does not lose it.
Why we collect it
We use this information to operate, secure, and improve the site. We do not use it for advertising. We do not engage in cross-site tracking or behavioral advertising, and we do not sell it.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies and localStorage in your browser settings, or use a tracker-blocking extension. The site works without PostHog cookies. The site does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals.

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data.
AI Processing
Data submitted through DK1.AI products may be processed by third-party AI models (such as Anthropic Claude and OpenAI) to power features like signal extraction, scoring, and recommendation generation. Third-Party Service Providers
We use the following third-party services to operate dk1.ai and our products. Each processes data only as necessary for its stated purpose:
- Cloudflare, Inc. -- hosting, DNS, CDN, edge security, and web analytics.
- PostHog, Inc. -- product analytics (United States).
- Functional Software, Inc. (Sentry) -- error monitoring (United States).
- Resend -- transactional email delivery for contact form submissions.
- Anthropic -- AI model processing for product features.
- Fly.io -- product application hosting.
Data Retention
- Contact submissions: retained for two years or the duration of any business relationship, whichever is longer.
- Product data: retained for the duration of your access plus 30 days, unless you request earlier deletion.
- Server logs: retained per the default policies of Cloudflare (typically 30 days).
You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
Your Rights Under CCPA (California Residents)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose.
- Delete personal information we hold about you.
- Opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
- Non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your data on the lawful basis of legitimate interest (to respond to business inquiries and deliver services). You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request erasure of your data.
- Restrict or object to processing.
- Data portability (receive your data in a structured format).
International Data Transfers
Our service providers may process data outside your jurisdiction. Such transfers are governed by the providers' data processing agreements and, where applicable, standard contractual clauses.

This site and our products are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
